We do not believe that teaching Braille Qur�an will alone solve the many problems faced by the blind. Along with imparting religious education to them, we strongly feel that it is our duty to ensure a decent living for them. We are happy that at least we could provide job opportunities to some of our students.
Habeebu Rahman, a student of our first batch is now working as a Braille Instructor at GIFB, while Muhammed Kutty, another former student, is working as a Braille Transcriptor for Assabah Society for the Blind. Another student, Abdurahiman, is now working with the Braille Transcription centre of Ummu Makhthoom Islamic Centre near Kondotty.

"Despite the blindness, I could secure a Bachelors Degree in Education. But due to circumstances, I was not able to do proper Madrassa education. Reading a Braille Qur�an continued to be a dream till joining GIFB. Within two months, I began to recite the Holy Qur�an using my fingers. Now being a secondary course student, I can recite Qur�an very fluently.�
�I lost my eyesight when I was studying tenth standard. It was a shock for me as my life came to a standstill all of a sudden. When I came here, I was not able to read and write Arabic Braille. By the Allah Almighty�s grace, now I can read and write the Holy Qur�an and recite it as per Tajweed rules"
